Bringing private prices into the light
I'm an analyst in PE moonlighting as a data science, infra, and markets nerd. Currently interested in whycertain prices are private.
Previously I founded a casual social fund called the cool shit fund, worked as a golf caddie, ran a business from my dorm room selling vintage instruments, tutored, and studied economics at the University of Michigan. I am frustrated by but increasingly proficient at bike repair.
Things I'm Working On
Trader Joe's Price Index
Working on web-app to allow users to create a personal CPI from items at Trader Joe's.
Digital Bookshelf
Built an interactive 3D bookshelf to showcase books I've read. Click on any book to pull it off the shelf, flip it to see the back cover with descriptions and my personal notes, then return it with another click. Based on an open source project.
Gym Finder (Better Name TBD)
Building a platform with conditional and map-based searching for gyms nearby. Goal is to bring better price competition and information availability on memberships while standardizing pricing in a very fragmented industry.
